The faces will be masked of course. The skewers won't kill the paint.
This Nitto stem looks really nice, but I wasn't satisfied. I wanted it to match the ultra-sweet finish of the Phil Wood hubs that are going on a classic fixed gear.

Hi Jeremy,
Yeah, after sanding to 400 grit, I started with a sisal buff with emery compound, followed by a spiral sewn buff and stainless compound. Lastly, I used a loose buff and white rouge to bring out the color. I plan on polishing and buffing some Spooky brakes for my cross bike. They will will way better than the stock black!
yeah spooky polished will look really good----will you spray the Spooky's with a clearcoat to hold the shine?
What about the dropouts--some kind of wax?
